Regulate Psychology

A Safe Space
Therapy can feel daunting at first. Although normal, too much anxiety can negatively impact on a person’s experience of counselling and their engagement.
We aim to help people feel at ease by creating a safe space that soothes the nervous system so that reflection, learning, insight and change can take place.
Safety is achieved through:
Comfort
A therapy space that feels comfortable with natural light, plants, soothing colours
Feedback
Eliciting feedback in therapy to help us adjust and tailor our approach to meet your individual needs
Openness
Holding an open, supportive and non-judgemental therapeutic stance
Confidentiality
Adhering to our practice values of confidentiality, respect, integrity, compassion, and safety
